The XROS series is Vaporesso's most popular range and the go-to for vapers switching from disposables or cigarettes. All current XROS kits use COREX pods with top-fill design, adjustable airflow and AXON chip technology. COREX 3.0 pods fitted to the XROS 5 series last up to twice as long as previous generation pods. Dojo, prefilled pod kits
The Dojo range is Vaporesso's prefilled pod system, designed as a direct alternative to disposable vapes. Each kit uses a rechargeable device with sealed, flavoured pods that simply click in and out. Vaporesso technology explained
Every Vaporesso device runs on the AXON chip, which manages power delivery, coil detection, firing speed and battery protection. The chip automatically detects coil resistance and adjusts output to match, prevents dry hits by backing off power when the coil runs low, and manages temperature-controlled firing on compatible devices. Pulse Mode on AXON-equipped devices fires in short bursts that produce denser, more consistent vapour than continuous power delivery.
COREX is Vaporesso's coil and wicking technology used in XROS pods and GTX coils. It combines a morph-mesh heating structure with a specially engineered cotton formula that holds e-liquid efficiently and wicks faster than standard cotton. COREX 3.0, introduced with the XROS 5 series, adds a Hive Mesh structure and aerospace-grade materials for a claimed 50% longer pod life and more consistent flavour from first puff to last compared to COREX 2.0. Pod compatibility: all COREX 2.0 and 3.0 pods are cross-compatible across XROS kits from the XROS 3 onwards, except the 0.4 ohm pod which requires higher-powered XROS kits only.

Which Vaporesso kit is best for beginners?
The XROS 5 Mini and XROS 4 Mini are the best starting points for most beginners. Both are draw-activated, use top-fill COREX pods, have no wattage settings to configure and produce a smooth MTL draw with nic salts. The Dojo Blast range is the simplest option of all — prefilled pods click straight in and there is nothing to fill or configure — but it costs more per puff than a refillable kit over time.
Are XROS pods compatible across different XROS kits?
Yes. COREX 2.0 and COREX 3.0 pods are cross-compatible across all XROS kits from the XROS 3 onwards, so you can switch devices within the XROS range without changing pod type. The exception is the 0.4 ohm pod, which requires a higher-powered XROS kit to function correctly. This cross-compatibility means you can upgrade your XROS device and use up existing pod stock without waste.
What is the difference between COREX 2.0 and COREX 3.0?
COREX 3.0 was introduced with the XROS 5 series and uses a Hive Mesh structure with aerospace-grade materials. Vaporesso claims COREX 3.0 delivers 50% longer pod life compared to COREX 2.0 and more consistent flavour from the first puff to the last, whereas COREX 2.0 flavour tends to gradually fade in the final days of a pod's life. Both generations are physically compatible with the same XROS devices from XROS 3 onwards.
What e-liquid should I use with a Vaporesso XROS kit?
XROS kits are designed for 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids and nic salts. Nic salts at 10mg or 20mg are the most popular choice as they deliver fast nicotine satisfaction with a smooth throat hit at the low wattages XROS pods operate at. Freebase 50/50 e-liquid works well with the 0.6 ohm pod for a looser draw. High VG shortfills are not suitable for XROS pods as the thicker liquid does not wick efficiently through the coil. Vaporesso's own Deliciu V2 nic salts are formulated to pair with XROS pods.
