About the Vaporesso Armour G pod kit
The Armour G is designed primarily for DTL and RDTL vaping. The included pods use a top airflow system rather than side airflow, which significantly reduces condensation and leaking during use. The 4-level airflow ring on the pod adjusts from tight to fully open, covering a wide range of vaping styles. Coils are press-fit GTX coils that slot directly into the Armour G Series pod — the same GTX platform used in the Luxe XR range. The kit ships with both a 0.2 ohm coil for DTL vaping and a 0.4 ohm coil for RDTL, and an optional MTL pod is available separately for vapers who prefer a tighter draw with nic salts.
Neo Pulse mode is an upgraded version of the standard Pulse mode found on other Vaporesso devices. It delivers a higher and more consistent output from full battery to 10%, which is particularly useful for DTL vaping at higher wattages where standard mode output can begin to soften as charge depletes. ECO mode reduces output for battery saving. Smart mode auto-detects the coil resistance and sets an appropriate starting wattage.
The Armour GS is identical in function and coil compatibility but uses a removable 18650 battery rather than a built-in cell. For vapers who carry spare batteries and want to swap rather than charge, the GS is the more practical choice. For vapers who prefer a sealed device without battery management, the Armour G is the cleaner option.

Vaporesso Armour G: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Armour G and the Armour GS?
The Armour G has a built-in 3000mAh battery that recharges via USB-C. The Armour GS uses a removable single 18650 battery that can be swapped for a fresh cell when depleted, though it can also be recharged in the device via USB-C. Performance, coil compatibility, screen and modes are identical across both variants. Choose the Armour G if you prefer a sealed, rechargeable device. Choose the Armour GS if you prefer to carry spare 18650 batteries and swap rather than charge.
What coils are compatible with the Armour G?
The Armour G is compatible with GTX coils via the Armour G Series pod. The kit ships with a 0.2 ohm GTX Mesh coil pre-installed and a spare 0.4 ohm GTX Mesh coil. The full GTX range is compatible, though the Armour G is designed primarily for DTL and RDTL vaping and the lower resistance coils suit it best. An optional Armour G MTL pod is available separately for vapers who want to use higher resistance GTX coils with nic salts.
What e-liquid should I use with the Armour G?
With the included DTL pod and 0.2 ohm coil, high-VG shortfill e-liquid at 3mg to 6mg nicotine is the recommended pairing. With the 0.4 ohm coil, a 50/50 or 60/40 VG freebase e-liquid at up to 6mg suits RDTL vaping. For MTL vaping with the optional MTL pod, nic salts at 10mg to 20mg work well with higher resistance GTX coils.
