About the Vaporesso Luxe X2 pod kit

The Luxe X2 is the mid-range device in the Luxe X family, sitting between the Luxe X Pro and the Luxe X3. The 2000mAh battery is larger than most pod kits in its size class and gives most MTL vapers a full day of use with charge to spare. Four days is achievable for lighter users at lower wattages. The AXON Smart Mode automatically sets the most appropriate wattage for the installed pod, so manual adjustment is only needed if you want to fine-tune output. The LED indicator on the front of the device uses a green, blue and red colour system to show battery level without a screen.

Both included pods use COREX 2.0 technology with upgraded morph mesh and improved cotton wicking for stronger flavour and approximately 30% longer pod life compared to first-generation Luxe X pods. The 0.8 ohm pod suits a tight MTL draw with nic salts; the 0.6 ohm pod suits a slightly looser draw. Bottom-fill pods reduce the risk of leaking during refills compared to top-fill designs on older Luxe kits. Full compatibility with all Luxe X pods, Luxe XR empty pods and GTX coils extends the range of vaping styles significantly beyond the two included pods.

Vaporesso Luxe X2 pod kit: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Luxe X2 and the Luxe X3?

The Luxe X3 has a larger 2600mAh battery versus the X2's 2000mAh and a higher 45W maximum output versus 40W. The X3 ships with Dual Mesh Corex pods rather than the standard COREX 2.0 pods in the X2, and has a 0.8 inch digital display showing wattage and battery percentage. The X2 uses an LED indicator only, with no wattage display. Both devices are compatible with the same Luxe X and Luxe XR pod ecosystem. Choose the X3 for the larger battery, wattage display and Dual Mesh pods. Choose the X2 for a lower price point with the same broad pod compatibility.

How do I fill the Luxe X2 pods?

The Luxe X2 uses bottom-fill pods. Remove the pod from the device, locate the silicone stopper on the base of the pod, pull it out, insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle and fill slowly until the pod is full. Replace the stopper, reinstall the pod and wait 3 to 5 minutes before vaping to allow the coil to saturate fully. This bottom-fill design reduces the risk of e-liquid entering the airflow channel compared to side or top-fill designs.

Can I use GTX coils with the Luxe X2?

Yes. GTX coils are compatible with the Luxe X2 when used inside Luxe XR empty pod shells. This allows access to the full GTX coil range including 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 ohm sub-ohm options for DTL vaping, as well as higher resistance options. Note that the Luxe X2 has a 40W maximum output, so very low resistance sub-ohm coils designed for higher wattages will be limited in performance on this device.
