About the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 pod kit
The Luxe XR Max 2 sits at a different point in the Vaporesso range to every other device in this silo. Where the Luxe X3, X2 and X Pro are compact pod kits designed primarily for MTL and RDTL vaping, the Luxe XR Max 2 is built around the GTX coil platform and is capable of genuine DTL performance at 80W. The 3200mAh battery is 14% larger than the original Luxe XR Max, and with the AXON chipset's Pulse mode maintaining consistent output throughout the charge cycle, DTL vapers can expect all-day performance without a mid-day charge.
Smart mode automatically reads the installed GTX coil resistance and sets an appropriate starting wattage. The full GTX range from 0.15 ohm dual mesh through to 1.2 ohm MTL means the device covers every vaping style in a single chassis. At 117g and 108mm tall, it is heavier and larger than compact pod kits in the range. What GTX coils are compatible with the Luxe XR Max 2?
The Luxe XR Max 2 is compatible with the full GTX coil range from 0.15 ohm dual mesh for DTL vaping up to 1.2 ohm for tight MTL vaping. The kit ships with a 0.2 ohm GTX Dual Mesh coil for DTL use and a 0.8 ohm GTX coil for MTL use. GTX coils fit into Luxe XR pods, not directly into the device. All Luxe X built-in coil pods are also compatible if you prefer a fixed-coil approach without changing coils.
What is the difference between Pulse, ECO and Smart modes on the Luxe XR Max 2?
Smart mode reads the installed coil resistance and sets an appropriate wattage automatically, making it the easiest starting point.
