About the Vaporesso XROS 5 pod kit
The XROS 5 is the most significant upgrade to the full-size XROS in several generations. The battery has grown from 1000mAh in the XROS 4 to 1500mAh, and the charging speed has increased from 1A to 3A — meaning a full day's battery takes just 15 minutes to reach 80% charge. The 0.88 inch colour screen is new for this generation, showing battery percentage, wattage, puff count and mode. Six screen themes are available and settings are remembered when you swap pods.
COREX 3.0 pods use a Hive Mesh structure with aerospace-grade materials and a Chimney Design airway. Vaporesso claims 40% more flavour and 30% smoother airflow compared to COREX 2.0, with more consistent taste from first puff to last rather than the gradual fade older pods exhibited. All previous XROS pods from the XROS 3 onwards are still compatible, so existing pod stock works without any changes. Smart mode automatically sets wattage based on the pod resistance installed. ECO mode reduces output to extend battery life. Normal and Power modes give manual wattage control up to 30W.
