About Voopoo PnP-X pod cartridges
PnP-X pods are empty cartridges, not sealed pods with built-in coils. The pod itself holds the e-liquid and accepts a separate PnP-X coil that press-fits into the base of the pod. When the coil burns out, you keep the same pod and swap just the coil. When the pod's wicking ports start to look discoloured or e-liquid begins to seep, you swap the pod and keep the coil. This split design works out cheaper long-term than sealed pods, and gives you full flexibility over which PnP-X coil resistance you fit.
The DTL and MTL versions of the cartridge are physically different. The DTL pod ships with a single wider drip tip and is tuned for sub-ohm vaping with looser airflow. The MTL pod ships with two narrower MTL drip tips plus two additional DTL drip tips, and tunes the airflow tighter to suit higher-resistance coils. Both fit the same magnetic connection on PnP-X-compatible kits, so you can swap between MTL and DTL setups using the same device.
Compatible Voopoo kits
PnP-X pods fit any Voopoo kit built around the PnP-X pod platform. The current and recent kit list includes:
Voopoo Drag X3, Drag S3, Drag X2, Drag S2, Vinci E80, Vinci E120, Argus Pro 2 and other PnP-X-compatible kits.
PnP-X pods are NOT compatible with kits using the older PnP platform (without the X), the TPP platform (Drag 3, Drag X Plus), the Vinci 2 or Vinci 3 pod platforms, the ITO platform (Doric, Drag Q) or any of the Argus-specific kits like the G3, Matrix or Z2. Each of those platforms has its own dedicated pod range stocked elsewhere on the site.
PnP-X coil compatibility
The PnP-X pod range pairs with the full PnP-X coil range. Different coils suit different cartridge types:
DTL cartridge pairs with: PnP-X 0.15 ohm (60-80W cloud-focused DTL), PnP-X 0.2 ohm (40-60W balanced DTL) and PnP-X 0.3 ohm (32-40W RDL/light DTL).
MTL cartridge pairs with: PnP-X 0.3 ohm (32-40W RDL/MTL crossover) and PnP-X 0.6 ohm (18-23W MTL/light RDL). The narrower MTL drip tip combined with tighter airflow gives the cigarette-style draw these higher-resistance coils are designed for.
Coils press-fit into the pod base with no threads to manage. Pull the spent coil out, push the new one in, fill, and the pod is ready to vape.
PnP-X vs PnP vs TPP: which platform do I have?
Voopoo runs three separate pod and coil platforms across the brand's catalogue. They are NOT cross-compatible:
PnP-X (this page) is the current cross-device platform used in Drag X3, Drag S3, Vinci E80 and other recent kits. PnP-X coils run from 0.15 ohm sub-ohm DTL through to 0.6 ohm MTL. PnP-X pods will not accept original PnP or TPP coils.
Original PnP is the older version of the platform used in Drag X, Drag S and earlier kits. Some PnP coils still work in PnP-X pods but the inverse is not always true. The PnP coil range is also stocked on our consolidated PnP coils page.
TPP is the higher-wattage sub-ohm-only platform used in the Drag 3 and Drag X Plus. TPP coils are 0.15-0.3 ohm DTL only and use a completely different pod fitting. See TPP replacement pods for that range.

Are PnP-X coils included with the pods?
No. PnP-X pods are sold empty without a coil pre-installed. You'll need a separate PnP-X coil to use the pod. The full PnP-X coil range is stocked on our PnP replacement coils page, with resistances spanning 0.15 ohm sub-ohm DTL through to 0.6 ohm MTL options. Coils press-fit into the base of the pod with no threads to manage.
What's the difference between PnP-X DTL and MTL pods?
The DTL pod ships with a single wider drip tip and is tuned for looser airflow, designed for sub-ohm coils (PnP-X 0.15, 0.2, 0.3 ohm) at higher wattages with high VG e-liquids. The MTL pod ships with narrower MTL drip tips and tighter airflow, designed for higher-resistance coils (PnP-X 0.3 and 0.6 ohm) at lower wattages with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids. Both pods fit the same magnetic connection on PnP-X kits.
Can I use original PnP coils in PnP-X pods?
Some original PnP coils will physically fit and function in PnP-X pods, but performance and flavour may not match the dedicated PnP-X coils. The PnP-X coil platform was designed alongside the PnP-X pods specifically and uses upgraded mesh and wicking materials. For best results, stick to PnP-X coils with PnP-X pods. The reverse (PnP-X coils in original PnP pods) is also not always supported.
Which Voopoo kits use PnP-X pods?
PnP-X pods are used by Voopoo Drag X3, Drag S3, Drag X2, Drag S2, Vinci E80, Vinci E120, Argus Pro 2 and other PnP-X-compatible kits. They do not fit kits using the TPP platform (Drag 3, Drag X Plus), the Vinci 2 or 3 pod platforms, the ITO platform (Doric, Drag Q), or kit-specific Argus pods (Argus G3, Matrix, Z2).
How do I refill a PnP-X pod?
PnP-X pods refill via a top-fill or side-fill port (depending on which version you have). Lift the silicone stopper on the fill port, drip your e-liquid below the maximum line, and replace the stopper firmly. The pod can stay seated in the device throughout the process. Wait five to ten minutes after refilling for the coil to wick fully before vaping, particularly with new coils.
How long does a PnP-X pod last?
The pod itself typically lasts four to six weeks of regular use before the wicking ports start to look discoloured and a replacement is recommended. The PnP-X coil inside the pod is replaced more frequently, usually every one to two weeks depending on wattage and e-liquid type. Sweet or dessert e-liquids tend to gunk coils faster than fruit or menthol blends.
Do PnP-X pods come with a 510 base?
No. The PnP-X replacement pods on this page do not include a 510-threaded base adapter. If you originally received a 510 base with your kit, keep it for future use. Without the adapter, the pods only fit the magnetic connection on PnP-X-compatible Voopoo kits, not standalone 510 box mods.
