| PnP-VM1 0.3 ohm (Pack of 5) | 32-40W RDL, freebase or nic salts |
| PnP-VM3 0.45 ohm (Pack of 5) | 28-35W RDL, smoother throat hit, nic salts or 50/50 |
PnP-TM, TM1 and TR1 specialty coils
The PnP-TM, PnP-TM1 and PnP-TR1 are specialty coils within the wider PnP family. Each fits the same magnetic press-fit base as the standard PnP coils above, but they're tuned for specific use cases. The TR1 is a rebuildable RBA option for advanced users; the TM and TM1 are MTL-focused coils for vapers running tight cigarette-style draws.
| Coil | Best for |
|---|---|
| PnP-TM Replacement Coils (Pack of 5) | MTL vaping at moderate wattage, suits 50/50 nic salts |
| PnP-TM1 Replacement Coils | Tight MTL draw, low-wattage nic salt vaping |

About the Voopoo PnP coil platform
The PnP (Plug and Play) platform is Voopoo's biggest practical advantage as a brand. One coil family covers Drag, Argus and Vinci devices that share the platform, which means upgrading from a Vinci to a Drag X3 doesn't force you onto a new coil ecosystem. Coils press-fit into the base of the pod with no threads, no tools and no setup time. Pull the spent coil out, push the new coil in, prime and vape.
The platform has evolved through several generations. The original PnP launched alongside the Vinci pod kit and used the VM and DW coil naming. The PnP-X generation upgraded the leak protection (4-layer seal versus single seal), thermo-stable cotton (rated for around 100ml versus the standard cotton's lower endurance) and the atomiser design (4th-generation versus 1st-gen). The TM and TR1 sub-ranges fill specific MTL and rebuildable use cases that the main mesh ranges don't cover.
Coil compatibility: which coil for which kit
The most important practical question is which coil fits which kit. Voopoo's PnP and PnP-X coils look similar and press-fit the same way, but they are different platforms and not always cross-compatible:
Use PnP-X coils for: Voopoo Drag X3, Drag S3, Drag X2, Drag S2, Vinci E80, Vinci E120, Argus Pro 2 and other recent PnP-X-compatible kits.
Use PnP-VM coils for: the original Vinci, Vinci R, Vinci X, Drag X, Drag S, older Argus kits and Vmate kits using the original PnP platform.
Use PnP-TM/TM1/TR1 coils for: the same kit list as the PnP-VM coils above, where those specific MTL or rebuildable coil resistances are required.
The coils on this page do NOT fit the TPP platform (Drag 3, Drag X Plus), the ITO platform (Doric, Drag Q), the Argus pod platform (G3, Matrix, Z2 use Argus pods, not coils), or the Vinci 2 / Vinci 3 sealed pod platforms. Each of those uses its own dedicated range stocked elsewhere on the site.
Wattage and resistance guide
Most modern Voopoo kits set the wattage automatically via Smart Mode based on the coil resistance, but if you're running RBA Mode for manual control, these are the recommended ranges:
0.15 ohm (PnP-X, PnP-VM6): 60-80W DTL with high VG e-liquids (70 VG / 30 PG or higher). The cloud-focused option, lasts longest with high-VG juice and shorter with sweet flavours.
0.2 ohm (PnP-X, PnP-VM5): 40-60W DTL with high VG e-liquids. Slightly tighter draw than the 0.15 ohm, balanced flavour and vapour.
0.3 ohm (PnP-X, PnP-VM1): 32-40W RDL or light DTL crossover. Works with both freebase and nic salts depending on draw preference.
0.45 ohm (PnP-VM3): 28-35W RDL with freebase or nic salts. The "everyday" middle-ground coil for vapers who want flavour without big clouds.
0.6 ohm (PnP-X): 18-23W RDL/MTL crossover. Strong nic-salt-friendly resistance, tight draw with moderate vapour.

Voopoo PnP coils: frequently asked questions
What's the difference between PnP and PnP-X coils?
PnP-X coils are the newer generation with a 4-layer leak-resistant seal, thermo-stable cotton rated for around 100ml of e-liquid endurance, and a 4th-generation atomiser design. Original PnP coils (PnP-VM, PnP-TM, etc.) use a single seal and standard cotton with shorter coil life. The two platforms are not always cross-compatible. PnP-X coils fit the Drag X3, S3, X2, S2 and Vinci E80; PnP-VM and other PnP coils fit the original Vinci, Drag X, Drag S and older kits.
Can I use PnP coils in my newer Drag X3 or S3?
Some original PnP coils will physically fit and function in the Drag X3 and S3 PnP-X pods, but they're not the recommended pairing. The PnP-X coil platform was designed alongside the PnP-X pods specifically and uses upgraded mesh and wicking materials. For best flavour, leak resistance and coil life, use PnP-X coils with PnP-X kits.
Which PnP coil should I pick?
Pick by your kit and your inhale style. For a Drag X3, S3 or Vinci E80, the PnP-X 0.3 ohm or 0.6 ohm are the most popular all-rounders. For an original Vinci or Drag X / S, the PnP-VM1 0.3 ohm or PnP-VM3 0.45 ohm cover most everyday use. For DTL clouds, pick the 0.15 or 0.2 ohm option in either platform. For tight MTL nic-salt vaping, the higher-resistance coils (0.6 ohm in PnP-X, or PnP-TM / TM1 in the original platform) are the better fit.
How long does a PnP coil last?
PnP-X coils are rated for around 100ml of e-liquid endurance, which works out to roughly two weeks of regular use for most adult vapers. Standard PnP-VM coils last around one to two weeks before flavour drops off. Sweet or dessert e-liquids gunk coils faster than fruit or menthol blends. Sub-ohm coils at higher wattages also burn out faster than higher-resistance coils at lower wattages.
Are PnP coils compatible with TPP or ITO platforms?
No. Voopoo runs three completely separate coil platforms: PnP (this page), TPP (used in Drag 3 and Drag X Plus, see TPP mesh coils), and ITO (used in Doric and Drag Q kits). The three platforms are physically incompatible with each other. Always check which platform your kit uses before ordering.
How do I install a PnP coil?
PnP coils press-fit into the base of the pod. Pull the spent coil straight out, push the new coil into the same socket, and you're done. There are no threads to manage. Always prime a new coil with a few drops of e-liquid on the exposed cotton before fitting, then wait five to ten minutes after refilling the pod for the cotton to fully wick before vaping. This prevents dry hits and burnt cotton on the first puff.
Why is my PnP coil burning out so fast?
The most common causes are running the coil above its recommended wattage range, vaping with the pod nearly empty (which lets the cotton dry out), insufficient priming on installation, or e-liquids with high sweetener content that gunk the coil quickly. Drop the wattage, top up the pod regularly, prime new coils properly, and consider switching to less sweet e-liquid blends if coil life is consistently short.
