Argus E40 replacement pods
The E40 pods are specific to the Voopoo Argus E40 device and use PnP-X atomiser technology internally. They are not cross-compatible with other Argus kits, and other Argus pods will not fit the E40. Three resistance options available in 2-packs.

About Voopoo Argus pods
Argus pods are sealed cartridges with a built-in mesh coil that's replaced as a single unit when the pod's flavour drops off. There's no separate coil to fit into the pod, no threads to manage and no tools needed. Each pod has a 2ml UK TPD-compliant chamber and refills via a top-fill silicone-stoppered port (with side-fill on some V2 resistances). Refilling is done while the pod is still seated in the device.
Voopoo currently produces three pod generations under the Argus name. The original V1 pods were the launch platform that's still in production for compatibility with older Argus kits. The Top Fill V2 pods upgrade the wicking and chamber design with iCOSM Code 2.0 technology and ship as standard with the newer Argus G3 and Matrix kits. The E40 pods are device-specific to the Argus E40 and use PnP-X atomiser internals despite being branded as Argus pods. iCOSM Code 2.0 (Top Fill V2 only)
iCOSM Code 2.0 is the wicking and chamber engineering inside the Argus Top Fill V2 pods, and the upgrade that distinguishes V2 from V1. The system combines a precision mesh coil with multi-layer cotton and a copper-wrap liquid shield. The shield maintains a thin e-liquid film around 99% of the cotton surface, which keeps air pressure stable through the pod and produces a noticeably cleaner flavour profile.
The film is roughly three times denser than older designs, which improves leak resistance by up to 83 percent in extreme testing. Voopoo rates V2 pods for around 30 days of pod cleanness, with up to 100ml of e-liquid endurance per pod before flavour drops off. The same technology isn't present in the V1 pods, which use a simpler single-layer cotton wick. V1 pods work fine but flavour fades earlier in the pod life and leak resistance is lower.
Wattage and resistance guide
Each pod resistance has a recommended wattage range that produces the best flavour and pod life. Most Argus kits set the wattage automatically via Smart Mode based on the pod resistance, but if you're running RBA Mode for manual control, these are the ranges to aim at:
0.3 ohm and 0.4 ohm pods: 18-30W RDTL with high VG or 50/50 freebase e-liquids. Warmer draw, more vapour, faster pod consumption.
0.45 ohm pods (E40): 25-32W RDL with high VG or 50/50 e-liquids.
0.6 ohm pods (E40): 18-25W MTL/RDL crossover with 50/50 nic salts or freebase.
0.7 ohm pods: 14-18W MTL or light RDL with nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or 50/50 freebase. The most popular all-round resistance.
1.0 ohm pods: 10-14W tighter MTL with nic salts, ideal for 20mg strengths and a smoother throat hit.
1.2 ohm pods: 9-12W tightest MTL, cigarette-style draw with nic salts.

Yes. The Argus V1 and Top Fill V2 pods both fit the same wider Argus pod kit range, including Argus G3, Matrix, Z2, P2, P3 and the older Argus G, P1 and base Argus kits. Do Argus pods fit the Argus E40?
No. The Argus E40 uses its own dedicated pod platform with PnP-X atomiser internals. Only the Argus E40 pods (0.3, 0.45 and 0.6 ohm) will fit the E40 device. The V1 and Top Fill V2 Argus pods are not compatible with the E40 even though they share the Argus brand name.

What is the difference between 2ml and XL pods?
In the UK, both versions hold 2ml of e-liquid in line with TPD regulations. The XL is a physically larger pod format originally designed for international markets where 3ml fills are permitted; the 2ml is the standard UK format. Both work in the same kits and accept the same e-liquids; the difference is purely in the pod's external dimensions.
How long does an Argus pod last?
Top Fill V2 pods are rated for around 30 days of pod cleanness with up to 100ml of e-liquid endurance per pod, thanks to iCOSM Code 2.0. V1 pods last around two weeks of regular use before flavour drops off. Sweeter and dessert e-liquids tend to shorten coil life on either generation. E40 pods sit closer to V2 in life expectancy.
How do I refill an Argus pod?
Lift the silicone stopper on the top of the pod (or the side, depending on the V2 resistance), insert the nozzle of your e-liquid bottle into the fill port, and drip until the e-liquid sits just below the maximum line. Press the stopper firmly back into place, wait five to ten minutes for the coil to wick fully, then start vaping. The pod can stay clicked into your device throughout the process.
