ITO X XL pod options
Both pods on this page are functionally identical: same internals, same fitting, same coil compatibility. The only thing changing is the colour of the stainless steel base.

About the ITO X XL replacement pod
The ITO X XL is the upgraded, larger-capacity refillable pod for Voopoo's ITO platform. The pod ships empty (no coil pre-installed) and accepts the full Voopoo ITO coil range, with resistances spanning roughly 0.5 ohm through 1.2 ohm to cover everything from RDTL to tight cigarette-style MTL. The body is a Pyrex glass chamber set into a stainless steel base, which gives the pod a more substantial feel than the standard plastic ITO pod and improves long-term resistance to e-liquid discolouration.
Compared with the standard 2ml ITO pod, the XL version uses a top-fill design rather than side-fill, has a 360° airflow channel for a smoother and more even draw, and uses a slightly tougher stainless steel mounting that holds firmer against magnetic connection over time. In the UK both pod versions are restricted to 2ml capacity under TPD regulations; the "XL" name refers to the original international 3.5ml variant, the physical dimensions of which the UK pod retains even at the lower fill cap.
Compatible Voopoo kits
The ITO X XL pod fits any Voopoo kit built around the ITO pod platform, including:
Voopoo Doric 20: compact 18W MTL pod kit, ideal for nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids.
Voopoo Doric 20 SE: special edition variant of the Doric 20, same pod compatibility.
Voopoo Doric Q: wider-bodied 12W pod kit also using ITO pods, draw-activated only.
Voopoo Drag Q: slightly higher-output Drag-branded version of the Q-series body, takes the same ITO pod platform.
The pod does not fit any of the Voopoo Drag, Argus, Vinci or Vmate kits, all of which use different pod platforms (PnP, PnP-X, TPP or kit-specific Argus pods).
ITO coil compatibility
The pod accepts the full Voopoo ITO coil range, all of which use a press-fit installation with no threads to manage. Common resistance options include:
1.2 ohm ITO coil: the tightest MTL option, ideal for nic salts at 10mg or 20mg paired with a cigarette-style draw.
1.0 ohm ITO coil: slightly looser MTL with marginally more vapour, still strongly nic-salt-friendly.
0.7 ohm ITO coil: the most popular all-rounder, comfortable across MTL through to light RDTL with both nic salts and 50/50 freebase e-liquids.
0.5 ohm ITO coil: the warmer RDTL option for slightly more vapour and a richer flavour profile, best paired with 50/50 or higher VG e-liquids.
Top-fill refill and 360° airflow
The ITO X XL pod refills via a top-fill port hidden under the mouthpiece. Lift the mouthpiece, drip your e-liquid below the maximum line, replace the mouthpiece, and the pod is ready to vape. There's no side seal to lift and no need to remove the pod from the device. The 360° airflow design routes air through a channel that wraps fully around the coil rather than entering from a single side, which produces a smoother and more even draw across the full life of the pod and helps prevent the airflow gurgling that thinner side-airflow pods sometimes develop.
ITO, PnP and TPP: which platform do I have?
Voopoo runs three separate pod and coil platforms across the brand's catalogue, none of which are cross-compatible with each other:
ITO is the MTL-focused platform used in Doric and Drag Q kits. ITO coils run from 0.5 ohm RDTL through to 1.2 ohm tight MTL. This page covers ITO pods.
PnP / PnP-X is the broad cross-device platform used in Drag X3, Drag S3, Argus and Vinci kits. Spans 0.15-1.0 ohm covering everything from sub-ohm DTL through to tight MTL. See the PnP replacement coils and PnP-X pods pages.
TPP is the higher-wattage sub-ohm platform used in the Drag 3 and Drag X Plus. TPP coils are sub-ohm only (0.15-0.3 ohm), aimed at DTL clouds. See TPP replacement pods.

ITO X XL pods: frequently asked questions
Which Voopoo kits do ITO X XL pods fit?
The ITO X XL pod fits the Voopoo Doric 20, Doric 20 SE, Doric Q and Drag Q kits. It does not fit any of the Drag, Argus, Vinci or Vmate kits, which use different pod platforms (PnP, PnP-X, TPP or Argus-specific pods).
Are the ITO X XL pods sold with a coil?
No. The pods on this page are sold empty without a coil. You'll need a separate Voopoo ITO coil to use the pod. Common resistance options are 0.5, 0.7, 1.0 and 1.2 ohm. Coils press-fit into the base of the pod with no threads to manage.
What is the difference between the ITO X XL pod and the standard ITO pod?
The XL version uses a top-fill design instead of the standard ITO pod's side-fill, has a 360° airflow channel rather than single-side airflow, and uses a stainless steel base in place of the standard pod's plastic mounting. Both versions are restricted to 2ml capacity in the UK under TPD regulations; the "XL" name reflects the original international 3.5ml variant.
How do I refill an ITO X XL pod?
Lift the mouthpiece on the top of the pod to expose the fill port, drip your e-liquid below the maximum line, and replace the mouthpiece firmly. The pod stays seated in the device throughout the process. After refilling, wait five to ten minutes for the coil to wick fully before vaping, particularly if you've just installed a fresh coil.
What e-liquid works best in an ITO X XL pod?
For 1.0 ohm and 1.2 ohm coils, nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg paired with a tight MTL draw work best. For the 0.7 ohm coil, both nic salts and 50/50 freebase e-liquids work well. The 0.5 ohm coil is the option to pick if you prefer 50/50 or higher VG e-liquids and a warmer RDTL draw with more vapour.
How long does an ITO X XL pod last?
The pod itself typically lasts six to eight weeks of regular use before the wicking ports start to look discoloured and a replacement is recommended. The Pyrex glass chamber resists e-liquid staining significantly better than plastic pods, which extends pod life compared to standard plastic ITO pods. The ITO coil inside the pod is replaced more frequently, usually every one to two weeks.
Does the colour of the pod base affect performance?
No. The Silver and Black versions are functionally identical. Same Pyrex glass chamber, same stainless steel base structure, same coil compatibility, same airflow design. The only difference is the cosmetic finish on the metal base. Pick whichever colour matches your kit.
