About the Armour G Series pods
The Armour G uses a different pod system to the Luxe X range. Where Luxe XR pods have GTX coils that screw in from the base, Armour G Series pods accept GTX coils via a press-fit from the top of the pod. The coil presses directly into the coil seat and is held in place securely. When a coil burns out, remove the spent coil, press in a new one, refill and vape.
The key difference between the DTL and MTL pods is the airflow pathway inside the pod, not just the coil fitted. The DTL pod has a wider internal channel suited to lower-resistance coils and higher airflow. The MTL pod has a narrower internal channel for a tighter draw with higher-resistance coils and nic salts. Both pods use the same 4-level top airflow ring and top-fill port. The DTL pod ships with the Armour G kit. The MTL pod is available separately for vapers who want to use the device for nic salt vaping.

Armour G replacement pods: frequently asked questions
Do I need a different pod for MTL vaping on the Armour G?
Yes. The Armour G kit ships with the DTL pod and 0.2 and 0.4 ohm GTX coils. For MTL vaping with nic salts, you need the Armour G Series MTL pod sold separately, along with compatible higher-resistance GTX coils such as the 0.8 or 1.2 ohm options. Fitting a high-resistance coil in the DTL pod is not ideal as the wider airflow channel in the DTL pod is designed for a more open draw.
Are Armour G pods compatible with the Armour GS?
Yes. Armour G Series MTL and DTL pods are compatible with both the Armour G and the Armour GS. The pod connection, coil platform and airflow system are identical across both devices. The only difference between the Armour G and GS is the battery type.
