About the OXVA VPrime pod kit

The OXVA VPrime is the only pod kit in the OXVA range that covers true DTL vaping. Every other OXVA device tops out at 30W or 40W and suits MTL and RDTL only. The VPrime reaches 60W, making it capable of powering a 0.2 ohm pod for full direct-to-lung inhales with large clouds and dense vapour. What sets it apart from sub-ohm box mods is the auto-draw activation — most DTL devices require you to hold a button while inhaling, but the VPrime fires automatically on draw at all wattages including 60W. The button is still there for those who prefer it.

The 2600mAh battery is the largest in the OXVA range by a considerable margin — nearly double the 1300mAh in the Xlim Pro 2. Smart mode detects the pod you insert and sets the optimal wattage automatically, so there is no configuration needed to start vaping. The four pod resistance options cover every vaping style: 0.2 ohm for DTL cloud vaping, 0.4 ohm for RDTL, 0.6 ohm for a looser MTL draw and 0.8 ohm for a tight MTL draw with nic salts. VPrime pods use their own dedicated format and are not compatible with any Xlim or NeXlim device.

Which pod should I use with the OXVA VPrime for nic salts?

For nic salts, use the VPrime 0.8 ohm pod for a tight MTL draw at 10 to 18W, or the 0.6 ohm pod for a slightly looser draw at 15 to 25W. Both work well with 50/50 nic salt e-liquids at 10mg or 20mg. The 0.2 ohm and 0.4 ohm pods are designed for DTL and RDTL vaping with higher VG freebase e-liquids and are not suitable for nic salts at full strength.

Are Xlim or NeXlim pods compatible with the OXVA VPrime?

No. The OXVA VPrime uses its own dedicated VPrime pod format. Xlim V2, V3, EZ and stainless steel pods will not fit the VPrime, and NeXlim pods will not fit either. When ordering replacement pods for the VPrime, always select VPrime replacement pod cartridges specifically.

Is the OXVA VPrime suitable for beginners?

The VPrime can be used by beginners if they start with the 0.6 ohm or 0.8 ohm pod for MTL vaping with nic salts. Smart mode sets the wattage automatically so there is no configuration needed.
