About Aspire AF mesh coils
AF mesh coils are designed to be used with compatible empty Aspire pod shells rather than the integrated pod and coil units. When using an empty Gotek pod shell or empty Flexus Pro pod, you press-fit the AF coil into the base of the pod, fill and vape. When the coil wears out, you remove the spent coil and press in a new one, keeping the pod shell. This approach reduces the ongoing cost per coil change compared to replacing the full integrated pod each time.
The mesh structure heats e-liquid evenly across a larger surface area than wire coils, delivering richer flavour and longer coil life. The 0.4 ohm coil suits higher-wattage RDTL vaping. The 0.6 ohm coil is the most versatile option covering both RDTL and loose MTL. The 1.0 ohm coil suits tight MTL vaping with nic salts. All three use the same push-fit connection and are interchangeable across compatible pod shells.

Aspire AF coils: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between AF coils and Gotek integrated pods?
Gotek integrated pods contain both the pod shell and the coil in one unit. When the coil wears out, the entire pod is replaced. AF coils are separate coil units that push into an empty pod shell. When the coil wears out, only the coil is replaced and the pod shell is reused. Using AF coils with empty pod shells reduces the ongoing cost per coil change. Both approaches are compatible with Gotek devices. Integrated pods are more convenient. AF coils with empty shells are more cost-effective over time.
Which Aspire devices are compatible with AF coils?
AF mesh coils are compatible with the Aspire Gotek X, Gotek X3, Gotek Pro, Gotek Nano and Flexus Pro when used with empty pod shells for those devices. They are not used directly in the device, they must be fitted into a compatible empty pod shell first. AF coils are not compatible with Minican, Pixo, Cyber G or PockeX devices, which all use different coil formats.
