About XROS COREX 3.0 pods
COREX 3.0 is the latest coil generation for the XROS range, introduced with the XROS 5 series. The Hive Mesh structure replaces the morph-mesh used in COREX 2.0 with a redesigned pattern that creates more uniform heating across the coil surface. Aerospace-grade materials improve heat resistance and consistency. Nano-microfibre cotton wicks faster and more evenly, reducing the chance of dry hits when the pod is running low on e-liquid.
All five resistances are cross-compatible across XROS devices from the XROS 3 generation onwards, including the XROS 3 Mini, XROS 4 Mini, XROS 4 Nano, XROS 5, XROS 5 Mini, XROS 5 Nano, XROS Pro and XROS Pro 2. One exception: the 0.4 ohm COREX 3.0 pod requires a higher-powered device and is not compatible with the XROS 4 Nano. Use the 0.4 ohm COREX 2.0 pod on the XROS 4 Nano instead.

Are COREX 3.0 pods compatible with older XROS devices?
Yes. COREX 3.0 pods are compatible with all XROS devices from the XROS 3 generation onwards, including the XROS 3 Mini, XROS 4 Mini, XROS 4 Nano, XROS 5, XROS 5 Mini, XROS 5 Nano, XROS Pro and XROS Pro 2. The pods simply click in and Smart mode on each device automatically sets an appropriate wattage. The only exception is the 0.4 ohm COREX 3.0 pod, which is not compatible with the XROS 4 Nano due to its power requirements.
What is the difference between COREX 2.0 and COREX 3.0 pods?
COREX 3.0 upgrades the morph-mesh structure of COREX 2.0 with a Hive Mesh design using aerospace-grade materials and nano-microfibre cotton. Vaporesso states this delivers 40% better flavour reproduction and 30% longer pod lifespan compared to COREX 2.0. Both generations are physically compatible with the same XROS devices and click in the same way. Upgrading from COREX 2.0 to COREX 3.0 pods on an older XROS device is straightforward and gives an immediate flavour improvement.
How long does an XROS COREX 3.0 pod last?
Pod lifespan depends on usage patterns and the e-liquid used. Most vapers find a COREX 3.0 pod lasts one to three weeks before flavour starts to fade or a burnt taste develops. High-sweetener e-liquids shorten pod life by leaving residue on the coil. Using a coil-friendly nic salt such as Deliciu V2 extends pod life. Priming the pod by filling it and waiting 5 minutes before the first puff also helps avoid premature burnout.
