Nic Nic Shots
Nic Nic is the most popular brand of nicotine shots in the UK. Nic shots are a versatile and essential product for vapers who use shortfill vape liquid, as they allow for precise customisation of nicotine strength.
Nic Nic is a My Vapery-owned UK nicotine shot brand and the most widely stocked nicotine shot range in the country. Each 10ml shot is flavourless (with one exception - the Ice variant) and is mixed into 0mg shortfill vape liquid to turn it into a nicotine-containing e-liquid. The full Nic Nic range is available at E-liquids.com across five variants - different PG/VG ratios to match your shortfill's base, a nic salt option for smoother throat hits, and an ice version that adds menthol alongside the nicotine.
Each Nic Nic bottle is 10ml. These nicotine shots are intended for adding to a 0mg shortfill to raise its nicotine strength. The variant you pick depends on your shortfill's PG/VG ratio and whether you want freebase or nic salt nicotine.
| Variant | PG/VG Ratio | Nicotine Type | Best For | Shop |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low VG | 50/50 | Freebase | Standard 50/50 shortfills, MTL devices | Buy Nic Nic Low VG |
| High VG | 30/70 | Freebase | 70/30 sub-ohm shortfills (most common) | Buy Nic Nic High VG |
| Max VG | 0/100 | Freebase | 80/20 or higher VG shortfills, cloud chasers | Buy Nic Nic Max VG |
| Salt | 50/50 | Nic Salt | Turning 0mg shortfills into nic salt mixes | Buy Nic Nic Salt |
| Ice | 50/50 | Freebase + Menthol | Adding cold menthol bite with the nicotine | Buy Nic Nic Ice |
The right Nic Nic shot depends on the PG/VG ratio of your shortfill vape juice. A standard 50/50 shortfill takes the Low VG shot. A 70/30 (70 percent VG) shortfill - the most common sub-ohm shortfill format - takes the High VG shot. Maximum-VG shortfills at 80/20 or above take the Max VG (100% VG) shot. Matching the ratios keeps the vapour and throat hit consistent after the shot is mixed in.
Freebase shots use standard freebase nicotine, the default for shortfill mixing - they give a stronger throat hit and pair well with high-VG sub-ohm setups. The Salt shot uses nicotine salts instead, which feel smoother at higher concentrations and absorb faster. Pick the Salt shot if you want to convert a 0mg shortfill into a nicotine salt mix suited to an MTL pod kit, rather than a freebase mix for sub-ohm vaping.
For a 50ml shortfill: add one 10ml 18mg shot to make 60ml at roughly 3mg nicotine strength. For a 100ml shortfill: add two 10ml 18mg nic shots to make 120ml at roughly 3mg strength. Shake the bottle well after adding the shot, then leave it to settle for a few minutes before vaping. Salt shot strengths differ - the product page lists the exact strength for each variant.
