At 1.2Ω the coil delivers a noticeably tighter MTL inhale with a more concentrated flavour profile and a smaller, more discreet cloud - closer in feel to smoking a cigarette than the more open RDTL experience of the 0.6Ω coil. The 1.2Ω coil is best paired with 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids and nicotine salts, which wick well at this resistance and deliver a satisfying throat hit and clean flavour without overwhelming the coil. Installation is the same as the 0.6Ω: unscrew the PockeX top cap, twist out the old coil and twist in the new one, then fill and leave to prime for 5-10 minutes before vaping. Aspire's top-fill, top-coil design means no tank drain is required. The 1.2Ω coil is also compatible with the Aspire Nautilus X tank for users running that setup. Coils typically last around 7-10 days depending on usage and e-liquid type.
